There wasn’t much to see today. Most of today’s hike was through open trail and burned out forest. One thing is for sure. This isn’t the Appalachian Trail.
Yesterday, I was fine with the altitude, but today not so much. The higher altitudes make oxygen to my lungs difficult. Consequently, I didn’t put on a fast pace, but I still got to my intended distance hike goal. It’s an early to camp day, so I can recover some lost sleep from last night.
