I have not done any real hiking except for a day hike in June and another day hike in Italy a couple of weeks ago, so my lack of conditioning showed. I did make it to this shelter around 4 PM. Again, I thought I would be alone, but a guy walked in late in the day.
Gary was good company. We built an awesome campfire and talked for a couple of hours until it was time to climb in the sleeping bags. This night things were quiet and we both slept well.
