Tony's Hiking Adventure

A Day Off in Julian

Today is a zero day, which means no hiking.  A front came through last night and brought rain and cold temperatures.  I’m still in the tiny house at Banner Ranch and glad to be here out of the rain and cold.

Jeff who was in the house with me last night was preparing to return to the trail while I was just hanging out.  About noon we both headed to the Julian post office.  Jeff was mailing stuff home and I was picking up provisions.  Afterwards, we went to the Miner’s Diner for a chili lunch.  At that point we split.  I caught a ride back to Banner Ranch and Jeff went back to the trail.

It doesn’t look like anyone else is going to stay here tonight, so I have the place all to myself.  Tomorrow it’s back to the trail.
