Today is a zero day – no hiking. Mike, my roommate, left early to go to town while I hung around the cabin. Around noon I headed for town, also. It was a downhill walk past many really nice homes. That’s a little different from other California towns I visited where the houses were more ramshackle.
I met Mike in town and we just hung out. I had been feeling poorly and somewhat run down. Then it hit me full on. I had a cold and cough. It can’t be Covid since I just had that 60 days ago. Nevertheless, I felt horrible. I took a night time flu medication in the evening and went to bed. I hope I can beat this cold quick. We go over Mount Baden-Powell in two days.
