Bob Stranges created an awesome YouTube video showing the group on the Zion NP hike. With his permission, I have created a link to it.

Today is the last day of the Zion National Park hike. I was up before 7 AM, took down my tent. The hike ends today at Angels Landing.

Day 3 Zion NP Hike:, West Rim Camp 1: We reached the campsite just after 1 PM. The others of our group arrived a couple of hours later – minus John and Jack.

Day 2, Wildcat Spring: I doubled back and picked up the tracks of the group who were well on their way to the next camp at Wildcat Spring.

Nine hikers in our group. All are either relatives or friends of my brother in law, John. Today we start at the Lee Pass Trailhead in Zion National Park.

Zion National Park is an American national park located in southwestern Utah near the town of Springdale. A prominent feature of the park is Zion Canyon.

I walked into the Canelo Pass Trailhead about 3 PM. I couldn’t go any further. I planned to pitch a tent at the trailhead since going further was not possible.

I reached an area called the Saddle 25 miles in on the trail. A tent site was right where Far Out indicated. The ground was flat, and the tent went up easily.

Montezuma Pass Is where we would begin the Arizona Trail. The temperature forecast was 30F° with a wind chill of 19F°. There is snow on Millers Peak.
