I’m at trail angel MJ’s house in Superior. MJ doesn’t call this a hostel, but it is. She made us a super breakfast of pancakes, eggs and orange juice.

The post office was in the downtown area of Globe, so I walked around to check things out. Most stores are only open a few days a week.
A cow wandered into my camp and was mooing all night. I got up late thanks to the cow. The plan was to hitchhike into Payson and have my leg examined.

Today is a zero day – a day with no hiking. I’d like to say I relaxed all day and did nothing, at the Quality Inn Payson, but that would not be true.
The first part of my zero day in Flagstaff was spent cleaning my equipment updating the blog and watching news to catch up on what’s going on in the world.
